This is Century Lake (formed by damming the Century River) in Malibu Creek State Park.

This is the South entrance of the California Science Center, as seen from the spiral ramp surrounding the pavilion that connects the IMAX theater to the center’s main building in Exposition Park, Los Angeles.
Here you can see the Dichroic Skylight and the intensely colored filtered light that it produces. The the 1,578 metallic spheres suspended from 342 cables in a spiral arrangement comprise the Aerial. Each sphere is 3, 5, or 7 inches in diameter and coated in either gold or palladium.
