This is the Christmas Tree at the Tenaya Lodge just outside of Yosemite National Park. I wanted to get a picture with the tree lights on, but it was a few days before Thanksgiving and they don’t turn on the lights until a few days later when they have a formal tree lighting ceremony. I thought of going to the reception desk with Thomas, and telling the receptionist that it would really make him happy if they turned on the lights for a few minutes. And then to close the deal I would say in a very loud whisper,”HE MIGHT NOT MAKE IT TO CHRISTMAS…”
